Business Office – Financial Assistance Counselor (M-F, 8 am to 4:30 pm): The person shall be responsible for assisting all patients that need assistance in paying accounts beyond covered insurance balance. They will be responsible for submission and compliance of all programs the hospital can offer. This includes, Medicaid, Child Health Plan plus (CHP+), Colorado Indigent Care Program (CICP), RGH Charity Care, payment plans, early pay discounts, agency billing contracts with our agencies of private pay and collection. In addition, the position will assist in the admissions process, occasionally performing a variety of typing and clerical duties in connection with patients’ insurance. May receive and record payments made by patients. Relays incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls using a multiple position switchboard. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
