Business Office /Financial Assistance /Collections / Credit Balances (full-time or part-time) Must have verbal skills to present information and ideas essential to supervisory duties and to understand general business office and practice; capable of dealing with people and working closely with patients; workable knowledge of safety procedures; must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language; must have patience and enthusiasm as well as the willingness and ability to handle difficult situations with good judgment; must be able to work as a team member; must be willing to learn. Equipment Knowledge: Excellent Computer Skills, Copy Machine and Fax Machine, Printers, Electronic Health Records

I. Specific duties and responsibilities: Join our incredible patient-centered and service-oriented team. Performs the more routine business office duties in accordance with established procedures and methods. May assist with the admission and discharge of patients. Performs a variety of typing and clerical duties in connection with patients’ insurance. May receive and record payments made by patients. Relays incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls using a multiple position telephone system

II. Financial Assistance, Colorado Indigent Care Program, RGH Financial Assistance, phone follow up, work with collection agency, credit balance investigation and resolution. May require travel to clinics to meet with patients.

III. RGH work with English and Spanish speaking populations.
