Dietary Manager (full-time) in Del Norte. Supervise the RGH Dietary according to the rules and regulations of every governing body, staying compliant at all times, and providing the highest levels of patient care and satisfaction. Oversee and lead staff to those ends, with continual education as to diets, textures, changes in the laws, and hospital policies. Maintain proper paperwork, represent the RGH Dietary, provide all the services in a quality and timely manner, work with the dietician to make menus and offer nutritionally sound and healthy meals. The Dietary manger is also a department head, and attends department head meetings, and represents RGH from time to time as the public face of the hospital. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Dietary Manager Certification preferred
Knowledge of food preparation
Servsafe Manager Certification strongly recommended
Previous institutional or healthcare dietary experience preferred
Good organizational and management skills
Flexability to be able to work and cover different shifts
Knowledge of Federal, State and local codes as pertains to food handling and sanitation
Ability to follow and modify recipes
Basic computer skills
