Housekeeping, Environmental Services (part-time – 24 hours) maintains hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient care and staff work. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties that may include dusting, washing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment; sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors; gathering and disposing of refuse; arranging furniture; and performing similar tasks. Position may also be known as Housekeeping Aide or Janitor. Cleans, sweeps, washes floors and walls. May be required to help lift or move equipment and furniture. Operates power waxer and floor scrubber.
