Maintenance Mechanic (non-certified) (full-time) – Performs/oversees work in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in the facility. Works according to diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. May have minor responsibility for electrical equipment. May set up and operate metal working tools to make new parts. May supervise one or two lesser skilled mechanics or helpers.
