Quality and Safety Manager (full-time/8am to 5pm Monday through Friday) – Oversee and responsible for over all quality, risk management and patient safety related activities within the organization. Directs the efforts of all the performance improvement initiatives to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory standards including national, state, CMS, CDPHE and other agencies. Works with clinicians and administrators to improve overall patient safety and systems-level outcomes. Reports quality measures to all regulatory systems.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Colorado Registered Nurse 
Must have previous experience in Quality Management, knowledge of CMS and CDPHE standards and regulations.  Verbal skills to present information and ideas essential to supervisory duties and to understand general practice as a quality manager; capable of dealing with people and working closely with patients; workable knowledge of safety procedures;  must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language; must have patience and enthusiasm as well as the willingness and ability to handle difficult situations with good judgment; must be able to work as a team member;  must  be willing to learn. Must have ability to develop policies and procedures. Needs skill in developing spread sheets to present to department heads, medical staff, and board of directors.
