Biography:
Berlin (Van Ness) Beiriger, PA (recently became Berlin Beiriger) is excited to join the Rio Grande Hospital Clinics team as a Physician Assistant, providing compassionate and comprehensive primary care for all ages, from infants to seniors.

A native of Buena Vista, Berlin made her way to the San Luis Valley after falling in love with a local and the vibrant outdoor lifestyle the valley offers. She and her husband enjoy hiking, nursing, and fishing with their dogs, and she’s a big fan of all sports. You’ll likely see her coaching middle and high school wrestling in the winter.

Berlin earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Colorado University in Gunnison and completed her Physician Assistant education at the University of Colorado. She also participated in the Rural Track at PA school, which provided an additional curriculum to optimize her knowledge for practice in rural areas. Her clinical training focused on pediatric and adult/geriatric primary care, and she brings a well-rounded, patient-first approach to the client.

Berlin completed much of her clinical training right here at Rio Grande Hospital. She’s proud to serve the San Luis Valley community full-time now and commits to delivering quality care across every stage of life
