Biography:
Kiley has been in the medical field for 23 years, beginning with her certification as a nursing assistant in 2001 while still in high school. After graduating high school, she attended general education classes and acquired her prerequisites for Nursing School at Trinidad State Junior College. She continued to work as a CNA through nursing school and learned skills in Telemetry and ICU to work as a telemetry tech and ICU tech at SLV Health. Then, Kiley obtained her licensed practical nurse license in March of 2007.

Kiley worked as a critical care flight nurse with Classic Air Medical Flight Company based in Cortez and Pagosa Springs. She flew in both Rotor Helicopters and Fixed Wing Airplanes.

Her interest in medical care peaked when she was a sophomore in high school when Kiley witnessed her mother providing aid to a man who was found down and not breathing in a store. Watching her mother provide help alongside the EMS crew as they arrived motivated her to want to take care of those in need and critical situations.

Her mother & father both used to work as nurses at RGH!

When she’s not spending time with her son and boyfriend, she enjoys cooking for her family, crocheting, hiking, and fishing.
