Wound Care Nurse (full-time) in Wound Clinic at Del Norte and Monte Vista. Wound Clinic and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) therapy
Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN Colorado license, CPR, Wound Care certified, HBO certified
Equipment Knowledge Computer, working knowledge of electronic medical records, CAH billing
Education: RN diploma or BSN
Experience: Experience in Wound Care, will train for HBO certification
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have verbal skills to present information and ideas essential to duties and to understand general wound care and practice; capable of dealing with people and working closely with patients and physicians; workable knowledge of safety procedures; must have patience and enthusiasm as well as the willingness and ability to handle difficult situations with good judgment; must be able to work as a team member; must be willing to learn. Required experience in Wound Care. RGH will provide training for HBO and additional training in wound care.
